The ALBA Synchrotron, located in Cerdanyola del Vallès (Barcelona), is dedicated to advancing knowledge across various scientific disciplines. This large infrastructure, is a fundamental pillar of the Spanish and European research arena, offering to academic and industrial users a wide variety of state-of-the-art instrumentation.
The core of ALBA is a complex of electron accelerators that reach an energy of 3 GeV and emit synchrotron light, covering a wide range of photon energies, from soft X-rays of a few eV to hard X-rays of 70 keV.
During our visit, we were fascinated by ALBA's cutting-edge synchrotron technology, which accelerates electrons to produce intense beams of light used for studying materials and biological samples at the atomic and molecular level. This technology enables breakthroughs in fields such as materials science, biomedicine, environmental science, and more.

ALBA Synchrotron serves as a hub for collaborative research, bringing together scientists, engineers, and researchers from around the world to tackle complex scientific challenges. The facility's commitment to innovation and its impact on advancing scientific knowledge are truly inspiring.
We are grateful for the opportunity to witness firsthand the pioneering work being done at ALBA Synchrotron. This experience reinforces our dedication to pushing the boundaries of innovation at Cinergia Power Solutions, as we continue to contribute to the advancement of science and technology.
